How to select the best from so many different types of cooking oil in the market?
Oil is an essential part of every cuisine. Oil is not only a cooking medium, it adds flavors to the food. There are lots of options for cooking oil in today’s market. Sometimes it’s controversial decision to select the best cooking oil. Also is it really valued the money we spend for premium cooking oils? If I ask what is the best cooking oil, what’s your answer? I hold that question for a long time. Though it’s always heard that minimize your fat intake, choose healthy fats, say no to fat, definitely we need fat. Although everyone is using some oil for their cooking, the type of oil may differ from region to region, country to country, tradition to tradition. Also, the availability of oil is one of the main reasons that oil is familiar with the people.
When I went to buy some cooking oils, the section was filled with many varieties, common oils like sunflower oil, canola oil, coconut oil, vegetable oil, soybean oil, and premium oils like extra virgin olive oil, macadamia oil, flaxseed oil, Sesame oil, etc. For sure you may have used one or more cooking oils from the above list definitely.
